Parte de los legendarios MEAT junto a Stunt Rock, Anonymous y Doormouse, Martin Frank (Abelcain) es uno de los productores más exquisitos de la escena breakcore. Muchos de sus trabajos se inspiran en el cine de terror y destilan un aroma a vieja mansión victoriana: la banda sonora perfecta para la recontextualización de esa época dorada del género de terror protagonizada por la Hammer. En su último álbum para Zhark International, Pantheon of Fiends, Abelcain rinde homenaje a esos clásicos del cine de terror de los 50 (La momia, Frankenstein, El hombre invisible, El increíble hombre Menguante, etc.). Es la maestría y sutileza con que Abelcain corta los breaks lo que lo convierte en uno de los pocos productores que revalorizan el manido Amen, dotándolo de una frescura y hondura difíciles de encontrar hoy en día.
HECATE
La diosa del breakcore oscuro (cada vez más metal) nos visita por tercera vez este año (ya estuvo en la tercera Impersonal Strike y en la segunda edición del deciBELIO). Con un set a cuatro manos y francamente inquieto en lo gutural, no es de extrañar que Rachael Kozak nos tenga sorbido el seso a más de uno.
